Radiofrequency Ablation

A local anesthetic and moderate sedation are typically used during the minimally invasive Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) treatment. Chronic neck and lower back discomfort brought on by joint deterioration from arthritis and numerous other spinal disorders can be gradually lessened using RFA. By heating a little patch of nerve tissue with an electrical current created by a radio wave, pain signals from that region are reduced.

RFA’s primary adverse effect is mild discomfort, which can include bruising and swelling where the injection was made. Many patients experience pain alleviation that lasts anywhere from six months to many years, while each patient responds differently to this treatment.
