Headaches

We do a comprehensive examination of the patient, taking into account their medical history, any symptoms, and further information regarding the injury, including its source and mechanism. To assess your general health, we could run neurological, cognitive, and imaging tests. We also assess the patient’s capacity for learning, problem-solving, recollection, and attention as part of the procedure. Following a comprehensive assessment, a practical treatment plan that includes pain management measures is implemented for the patient’s general health. We develop a customized treatment plan for every patient in order to help them get better and resume their regular activities.

Headache Types

An estimated 45 million Americans report having headaches annually, according to research. Importantly, many people suffer from these symptoms as a result of any underlying illness. There are various types of headaches, including:

  • Tension
Headaches associated with stress, worry, or sadness are mostly caused by tight muscles in the neck, shoulders, scalp, and jaw. If you labor excessively and experience stress from job, chores, relationships, etc., you may develop tension headaches.
  • Cluster
It can occur several times a day and lasts for one to three hours. It can cause watery eyes, nasal congestion, and a running nose on the same side of the head and is characterized by sudden, incapacitating pain on either the right or left side.
  • Sinus
It could seem like a sinus infection with pressure on the forehead, cheeks, and eyes. Since the symptoms, such as runny nose and nasal congestion, can be similar, it is frequently mistaken for a migraine. Rarely, sinus headaches might be linked to an infection.
  • Migraine
According to research, more than 35 million Americans suffer from migraines. Prodrome, aura, headache, and postdrome are the four stages. You are not required to go through all four stages. The aura phase may be experienced by a tiny percentage of persons.
  • Dental
Overactivity brought on by dental bruxism might result in headaches and muscle spasms. Your facial joints can be affected by conditions like TMJ, which can cause pain that travels to the back of your head and neck.
  • Caffeine
When people drink a lot of coffee and then stop, this can happen. Rebound dilatation of the vessels, which happens several times a day following heavy coffee use, could be the explanation.

Our Method

Nobody wants to have a headache because they are unpleasant. Headaches can occasionally be an indication of a more serious issue, so you need to be aware of your symptoms. We perform a complete examination, taking into account the patient’s medical history, any symptoms, and additional information regarding the onset, frequency, and other facts. After conducting a comprehensive physical examination, we develop a customized treatment strategy. We give a variety of therapy options, and we determine the best course of action for the patient’s needs based on our evaluation.
