Planning your Visit

When you visit Advanced Pain Consultants in Raleigh, NC, we want your visit to go as smoothly as possible, and for you to leave our office feeling better.   Dr. Sonia Pasi will work with you and your referring physician every step of the way from determining and initial diagnosis for your pain, to formulation of an effective treatment plan.  Our goal is to relieve, reduce, and manage pain to improve our patients’ overall quality of life through the use of minimally invasive techniques.  We strive to help our patients return to their everyday activities quickly and without heavy reliance on medications, while encouraging the body to heal itself.

What to Expect​​

During your first visit, our office will have you complete a series of questionnaires regarding your pain and pain management history. If you have been seen by another pain management provider, please be prepared to provide notes from those providers. This will provide Dr. Pasi with some insight regarding previous treatment plans, testing and past imaging. As Dr. Pasi utilizes a multi-disciplinary treatment approach, she may recommend treatment that involve EMG’s Tens Units, Bracing, Imaging, and/or evaluation by our pain psychologist. Please be prepared to submit a Urine Drug Screening, and bring any pain medications that you are currently taking with you to your first appointment.
